One of Washington's newest and quirkiest public art installations. It's worth a stop, especially after dark when it glows. Leafy Wader – Federal Way Standing two stories tall outside the Downtown Federal Way light rail station, Leafy Wader is a whimsical illuminated glass desk lamp by artist Donald Lipski. Its name is an anagram of "Federal Way," and the sculpture pays tribute to the Pacific Northwest's world-renowned glass art tradition, inspired by artists like Dale Chihuly.
