This is a great stop for food or refreshments. The bartenders are friendly and willing to discuss the haunting of the place. It has been toured by ghost hunters and featured in some shows. Allegedly, there are several ghosts that frequent the space, including a child and a woman who sings in French. The upstairs is no longer rented out, except for large parties as in a wedding. The original bar is not accessible to the public. At one point they pulled up the floor to inspect a sagging spot and they found an old carriage propping it up. It was moved to the local museum.
