Built in 1890, this 75-foot wooden bell tower once alerted Port Townsend's volunteer firefighters with coded bell rings that identified the location and severity of fires. Today, it's one of the city's most recognizable historic landmarks and stands as one of the last surviving wooden fire bell towers of its kind in the United States, overlooking Port Townsend Bay
