Very cool piece of military aircraft. Built from the tail boom of a Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar, this 53-foot retro sci-fi rocket has watched over Fremont since 1994. It proudly displays the Fremont coat of arms and the Latin motto "De Libertas Quirkas"—"Freedom to Be Peculiar"—a fitting symbol for Seattle's self-proclaimed Center of the Universe.
