Gorgeous and 'working' fountain. This elegant bronze fountain was created in 1923 by Swedish-born artist and metalworker Knute Evertz to honor Whatcom County's flourishing tulip bulb industry in the early 1900s. It is one of five tulip fountains Evertz designed for Bellingham. Originally installed in Whatcom Falls Park, the fountain was later relocated to Fairhaven Village Green, where it now serves as both a work of public art and a reminder of the region's agricultural heritage. While you're here, take time to explore the Village Green, the historic mural, and the nearby statue of Dirty Dan Harris in the heart of Fairhaven.
